POLICE 

For all EMERGENCIES in South Frontenac dial 9-1-1.

For NON-EMERGENCIES call the Dispatch Centre at 1-888-310-1122.

For administrative inquiries at the Frontenac OPP Detachment call (613) 372-1932. The Detachment office is located at 5282 Hinchinbrooke Road in Hartington.

The Police Services Board meets quarterly to discuss matters related to policing. The Board is comprised of the following members:

Mark Tinlin, Deputy Mayor, Township of South Frontenac

Ron Sleeth, Provincial Appointee

Mark Schjerning, Citizen Appointee

Wayne Orr, Secretary

The next meeting will be onThursday, September 8th,  2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Frontenac OPP Detachment in Hartington. The agenda will be posted prior to this meeting.

FIRE & RESCUE

By-law 2004-107: A by-law to regulate open air burning. 

Current Burn Status

The fire season is April 1st to October 31st. Currently there is no burning ban in effect, however residents are encouraged to check the status on a regular basis for updates on the burning ban. 

Before burning, please consult the Burning By-law #2004-107 noted above. If you have questions, please contact Fire Chief Chesebrough directly at (613) 376-3027 Ext 2234.

Any infractions of the By-law will result in significant financial penalties.
