We would like all ratepayers to be aware that a Building Permit is required for all structures attached or detached that are over 10 sq. meters or 108 sq. ft. This includes pools & deck replacement. Please note, that all building projects no matter what size must meet the setback requirements set out by the Township Zoning By-law. If you are uncertain about these requirements, please call the Building Department to discuss it with us before you build.
Pools: All pools that are capable of holding 18 inches of water (this includes the blue inflatable ones) require a building permit. Anyone failing to meet the requirements of the Pool By-law 2002-97 shall pay a penalty of not less that $300 for each offence.

A Demolition Permit is required before any building is removed or torn down.
