Please be advised that the Petworth Bridge located on Petworth Road in the Township of South Frontenac will be closed to all traffic from approximately May 21, 2013 to approximately June 14, 2013.  Traffic will be detoured via a signed detour route using Camden Portland Boundary Road, Colebrook Road, and County Road 6.  This closure is needed to facilitate repairs to the Petworth Bridge.

Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013 - 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p.m. 

The burning season is April 1st to October 31st of each year and the Fire Chief or his designate may impose a burning ban dependent on weather conditons.

At this time there is not a ban in place, however residents are advised to refer to the burning by-law under our "Emergency Services" page.

Residents who would normally have their Garbage picked up on Monday, May 20th,(Victoria Day), will have their pick up rescheduled for Tuesday, May 21st.

Residents are advised to follow their regular scheduled day for Garbage and Recycling pickups for the remainder of the week. 

Effective May 1st, 2013, residents are advised of changes to the hours of operation, accepted materials and tipping fees at waste disposal sites in South Frontenac.
